The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunters (CAT C&E) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 02:30am start

Pay Rate:

Between 6am – 6pm -£16.36 per hour PAYE
Between 6pm – 6am - £19.08 per hour PAYE

Job Type: Temp to perm

Location: Crawley, RH10

The role:

Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard.
Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
12 months on licence and experience required.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
