The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday
Start Times:
- Nights - 01:00am
- Days - 12:30pm (Monday to Friday working 5-6 hours guaranteed 27.5 hours)
Pay Rate:
- Nights - £16.16 PAYE
- Days - £15.10 PAYE
Location: Plymouth, PL6
Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent
The role:
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
- Handling runs with 1-2 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Utilising tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
- Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if the assessment is successful.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
