About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established general haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team. 

Location: Alfreton, DE55.
Job Type: Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available.

Pay Rates: 
  • £14.00 – £15.00 per hour.
  • £25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to night out / tramper drivers).

Shift Patterns & Start Times: 
  • Start times available from 03:00 onwards.
  • Day work available.
  • Optional nights out / tramping (fully flexible and driver choice).
  • Full-time and part-time work available.

The Role: 
  • General haulage deliveries.
  • Operating curtainsider vehicles.
  • Nationwide deliveries and collections.
  • Minimal handball involved.
  • Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.

Requirements: 
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licence.
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience required.
  • Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
  • Valid CPC and Digi Card.
  • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
  • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
