About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. 
Please note that drivers may be required to drive Class 2 on occasions
Shifts: 5 shifts a week (across Monday to Sunday)
Start Times: Start times are between 8 am and 10 am.

Pay Rate:
  • £15.36 per hour PAYE 
Location: Preston, PR2
Job Type: Ongoing

The role:
  • Bulk deliveries and collections in a semi / DD or 18 Tonne vehicle, and deliver and collect loaded pallets of parcels, back and forth from our depot. 

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
  • Valid and up-to-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 6 months minimum experience required
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
