Part-Time HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Rotherham (S66)
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are looking for multiple Part-Time HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team.

Location: Rotherham, S66
Job Type: Ongoing Part-Time Work / Temp-to-Perm Opportunities Available
Pay Rates:
  • £17.50 per hour (PAYE)
  • £19.61 per hour (Rolled Up Holiday Pay)

Shift Patterns & Start Times:
  • Sunday to Friday nights.
  • Flexible part-time shifts available.
  • Choose from 1–4 shifts per week.
  • Start times between 20:00 – 00:00.
  • Average shift length 10 hours.
  • Double-manned runs can be 14–15 hours.

The Role:
  • Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (depots located from Glasgow to Southampton).
  • 1–2 drops per shift.
  • Mixture of cage work, pallets and totes.
  • Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading.
  • Vehicles are pre-loaded before shift start.
  • Regular double-manned runs required.
  • No nights out required.

Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  • Minimum 2 years’ driving experience required.
  • No maximum points; however, only minor offences accepted (no DR/DG offences).
  • Valid CPC and Digi Card.
  • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
  • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
