About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunters (CAT C&E) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 03:00am start.
Pay Rate:
- Between 6am – 6pm - £15.28 per hour PAYE rising to £16.36 after 12 weeks of service.
- Between 6pm – 6am - £15.28 per hour PAYE rising to £19.08 after 12 weeks of service.

The role:
- Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard.
- Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
- 3 months on licence and experience required
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
