The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sittingbourne area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter (CAT C&E) to join the team.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday

Start time: 02:00am Finish time: 10:00am

Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour PAYE

Location: Sittingbourne, ME10

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard
Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Helping in the warehouse when there is no shunting required
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Full UK driving license with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
1 Year experience
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on license (minor offenses only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
