HGV Class 2 Driver

About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Basildon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team.

Class 2:
Bulk collections/deliveries:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 09:00am start
  • £15.36 per hour PAYE

Location: Basildon, SS14

Job Type: Ongoing.

The role: 
  • Bulk - average of 15- 20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • 6 months minimum experience required
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
