The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and family-run food distribution business based in Sherburn in Elmet. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 (CAT C) Driver to join the team on a permanent basis.

Pay Details:
- £34,700 per annum
- Overtime paid at time and a half (daily)
Shift Pattern & Start Times:
- Monday to Friday
- 05:30 start
- 45-hour working week
- No weekend work
The Role:
- Multi-drop deliveries to bakeries, butchers and farm shops across the North of England
- Operating Class 2 vehicles within a food distribution environment
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with legal requirements
- Cross-checking deliveries, including temperature checks where required
- Managing returns and completing relevant paperwork
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (CAT C) licence, held for at least 2 years
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
- Food distribution or refrigeration experience advantageous but not essential
