About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C ) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 08:00am start  
Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour however, additional hours will be added on top of timesheet. 
Location: Carlisle, CA3 

Job Type: Minimum 6 week contract, potentially leading to ongoing work

The role:
  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels - mail delivery. 
  • 10 bulk deliveries and collections on return.
  • Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (Class 2).
  • 6 months experience required.
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
