The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C ) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 08:00am start

Pay Rate: £14.85 per hour however, additional hours will be added on top of timesheet.

Location: Carlisle, CA3

Job Type: Temporary with the potential for ongoing work.

The role:

Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels - mail delivery.
10 bulk deliveries and collections on return.
Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (Class 2).
6 months experience required.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
