About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Leeds. We are looking for HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers to join the team.
Location: Leeds, LS10 1RT
Job Type: Ongoing Work
Pay Rate:
£14.43 per hour PAYE
Hours & Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday.
- 11:00am start.
- 8–10 hour shifts.
- Ongoing, consistent work available.
The Role:
- Completing multi-drop runs in an 18-tonne vehicle.
- Average of 8- 10 collections/deliveries.
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
- Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) license.
- 2 years' experience required but client may consider less.
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
- Valid CPC and Digi Card.
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
