About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Shifts: Typically across Monday to Friday but weekend work also may be a requirement.
Roles:
- HGV Class 1 - Linehaul runs.
- HGV Class 2 - Bulk runs.
Start Times:
- Days - between 7am - 10am starts (bulk runs).
- Afters - between 12pm - 10pm starts (linehaul runs).
Pay Rate:
- Bulk runs - £15.83 per hour.
- Linehaul runs - £17.79 per hour (between 6am -10pm) & £18.29 per hour (between 10pm - 6am).
Location: Nottingham
Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing
The role:
- Bulk runs - Multi-drop delivery (loading and loading required).
- Linehaul runs - Performing trunk runs to the HUB.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E & C).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience on the relevant vehicle.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
