About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Shift (Full-time or part-time) -
- Part-time - Sunday 4 am start, Monday and Tuesday 10 am - 14:00 pm starts
- Full-time - (shifts between Sunday and Saturday, 10 am - 14:00 pm starts
Pay Rate:
Class 2
- Days - £15.56 per hour PAYE
Class 1
- Days - £16.50 per hour PAYE
Location: Crawley RH10
Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent
The role:
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
- Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Drivers may be required to assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and a pump truck.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Experience would be preferred, but new passes will be considered
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C)
- Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on a licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
