About the Job
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to carry out planned preventative maintenance, attend breakdowns of machines and equipment, and ensure the highest levels of Health & Safety are maintained.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm Friday 7am-1:30pm
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 DOE
Location: Lye, DY9

Role Overview:
You will ensure the overall site, facilities and machinery run to maximum efficiency and output. This role is ideal for someone who is newly qualified/experienced and looking to develop and grow their skillset, building a long-term career with an industry leading manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance. Inspections/Servicing/repair as necessary.
  • Attending faults to machinery or plant at all company sites to ensure continuity of production.
  • The fabrication and/or manufacture of components for maintenance repairs.
  • Regular inspections of grounds, factory, security and general building maintenance.
  • Attending faults to customer site installations when requested.
  • Ensure the safety, security and integrity of all plant, equipment, facilities and processes at all times.
  • Key holder – locking up/security responsibilities.
  • An awareness of sub-contract maintenance visits and assisting when necessary.
  • The positioning of plant and machines in factory areas.
  • Advising the Maintenance Manager of faults that may require an external contractor.

Requirements:
  • Computer skills with Maintenance Planning, Microsoft Tools.
  • Apprentice trained, City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical. Engineering/similar and industry experience.
  • Teamwork ethos across all functions (Engineering, Productions, Quality Management).
