We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to carry out planned preventative maintenance, attend breakdowns of machines and equipment, and ensure the highest levels of Health & Safety are maintained.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4:30pm Friday 7am-1:30pm

Salary: £27,000-£30,000 DOE

Location: Lye, DY9

Role Overview:

You will ensure the overall site, facilities and machinery run to maximum efficiency and output. This role is ideal for someone who is newly qualified/experienced and looking to develop and grow their skillset, building a long-term career with an industry leading manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance. Inspections/Servicing/repair as necessary.
Attending faults to machinery or plant at all company sites to ensure continuity of production.
The fabrication and/or manufacture of components for maintenance repairs.
Regular inspections of grounds, factory, security and general building maintenance.
Attending faults to customer site installations when requested.
Ensure the safety, security and integrity of all plant, equipment, facilities and processes at all times.
Key holder – locking up/security responsibilities.
An awareness of sub-contract maintenance visits and assisting when necessary.
The positioning of plant and machines in factory areas.
Advising the Maintenance Manager of faults that may require an external contractor.

Requirements:

Computer skills with Maintenance Planning, Microsoft Tools.
Apprentice trained, City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical. Engineering/similar and industry experience.
Teamwork ethos across all functions (Engineering, Productions, Quality Management).
