About the Job
We are currently hiring Press Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. It is
expected that your knowledge, competency, speed and accuracy will improve over time.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm.
Rate: £12.71.
Type: Permanent.
Location: Stourport on Severn, DY13.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining.
- excellent safety and quality standards.
- Manufacturing or assembling components in accordance with drawings or customers’ requirements.
- Operate saws, break out laser cut parts, and finish.
- Inspect products, evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Reliability and good communication skills.
- Able to use hand tools.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate press brake controls
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
