About the Job
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Knottingley area. We are looking for an experienced Van Driver (CAT B) to join the team on a temporary basis for holiday cover.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7am start
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour PAYE
Location: Knottingley, WF11
Job Type: Temporary from 02.07 - 20.07.
The role:
- Safely operate a 5-tonne van
- Execute 2-3 drops per day, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- The driver will be required to have a tachograph (driver card)
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
