The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8.
This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work with flexible shift options and excellent support.
Assessments Available ASAP!
Hours:
- Night shift positions only.
- Typical start times fall between 17:00pm and 20:00pm
- Typically Monday to Friday but may be weekend work at times.
Pay Rates:
- £18.50 between 6am - 10pm
- £20.00 between 10pm - 6am
- Weekend £25.00
Location:
- Coventry, CV8
The Role:
- Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift.
- Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy.
- Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience.
- Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E).
- Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical).
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.
