The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8.

This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work with flexible shift options and excellent support.

Assessments Available ASAP!

Hours:

Night shift positions only.
Typical start times fall between 17:00pm and 20:00pm
Typically Monday to Friday but may be weekend work at times.

Pay Rates:

£18.50 between 6am - 10pm
£20.00 between 10pm - 6am
Weekend £25.00

Location:

Coventry, CV8

The Role:

Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift.
Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy.
Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience.
Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E).
Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical).
Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude.
